Bonucci Speaks about the Development of AC Milan Performance

AC Milan captain Leonardo Bonucci admitted that his team are still behind Juventus and Napoli despite their progress.

The development of AC Milan continues this season with a 2-1 victory over Cagliari on Sunday (27/08/2017).

Even so, AC Milan’s performance is still far from the word convincing.

They need a free kick from Suso’s free kick in the final 20 minutes of the game to guarantee their second successive win in the Italian league this season.

There are still problems as coach Vincenzo Montella tries to integrate new players, such as Nikola Kalinic, Andre Silva, Lucas Biglia, Hakan Calhanoglu, Ricardo Rodriguez, Franck Kessie and Borini into the squad.

However, captain Bonucci admitted happy with the developments that exist in his club.

“Our journey to flourish has begun, and these matches help the development as it shows you the value of passion and sacrifice,” Bonucci told FourFourTwo quoted by BolaSport.com.

The newly recruited Captain of Juventus added that the trip should make Milan a great club again.

“We are just at the beginning We need to grow and become a stronger team We do not see any other team because Napoli and Juve are just a bit ahead of us,” said the 30-year-old defender.
