Advocacy Defense, AC Milan Silently Find a Substitute Montella
Rumors of Vincenzo Montella’s packing of AC Milan’s coaching squad is blowing hard following a 0-2 defeat of AS Roma at the San Siro on Sunday (01/10/2017). The defense of the Rossoneri management is believed to be just a play.
Repeatedly the management of AC Milan denied it would sack Montella. However, secretly they were looking for a replacement figure coach 43 years.
As reported by Football Italia, for the third time, yesterday, Montella was called by the officials of AC Milan, including Sports Director Massimiliano Mirabelli and CEO Marco Fassone. The meeting was to account for the defeat of AS Roma.
The meeting lasted for one and a half hours. Believed, despite always passing a defense through the media, Rossoneri management will still sack Montella if again lost against Inter Milan in Derby della Madonnina, 15 October.
According to Mediaset Premium, AC Milan has contacted two coaches who are currently unemployed to replace Montella. They are former Fiorentina coach Paulo Sousa and former Watford coach, Walter Mazzarri.
